MEETING: MAY 19 (New Date!)

ATTENTION: Web or E-learning designers/developers

The Austin Adobe User Group (AMMUG) meets monthly to help network, educate and support web/e-learning developers using Adobe products in government as well as the Austin community. Topics range from formal presentations on Dreamweaver, Flash, Captivate or Authorware, as well as general topics on best practices in creating e-learning, web accessibility issues, storyboarding projects and demonstrating agency developed products. All meetings are free and it's a great way to network with other developers and share resources.

MEETING DATE CHANGE - The next Austin Adobe User Group (AAUG) Meeting will be held Friday, May 19, 2006 at 1:15-4:00 pm.

LOCATION: The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) DBS Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center Auditorium , 4800 North Lamar.

Please park in the state garage. Enter at the front entrance of building which faces Sunshine Drive and corner of North Lamar.

IMPORTANT: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO FIFTY PEOPLE. IF WE HAVE MORE THAN FIFTY PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THIS PRESENTATION, WE’LL SCHEDULE A SECOND SESSION AT A LATER DATE.

PRESENTATION TOPIC: Accessibility Workshop

1:15 – 2:15pm State and federal policies on web accessibility discussion with question/answer session from accessibility experts.

2:15 - 2:30 pm Break and Networking

2:30 – 4:00 PM Hands on experience using various accessibility tools and learning from the experts.

AAUG members will have first chance at registration. Open registration for others will begin April 28, Therefore, you have one week to reserve your seat.
